What’s your tip on building confidence to lift weights/try new movements at the gym?

"One of the ways CrossFit in general builds confidence is through scaling of movements. This allows for a group of athletes of varying strengths and abilities to do the same workout, some with modifications, so that everyone is getting the same intensity in their workout. This in itself builds confidence.  I encourage athletes to scale to where they’re comfortable and then go a step beyond. Getting comfortable being uncomfortable and experiencing their own successes builds confidence in our athletes!" - Coach Jess
